Late homework:
- For homework one day late, 25% will be deducted from the student's grade on the assignment.
- For homework two days late, 50% will be deducted from the student's grade on the assignment.
- For homework three or more days late, 0% will be given for the assignment.
- The work is still expected to be completed to ensure that skills are practiced.
Students with late homework will stay in for the morning (optional) recess to work on the assignment.
Re-do Policy:
For the first trimester, students may re-do classwork or homework assignments that have received a score below 70%. The assignment's score will be reduced to a grade of 70% after it is redone.
This excludes late homework.
At home, students should:
- Read 350 minutes a month (or about 15 minutes a night)
- Practice math facts (currently: addition and subtraction)
- Practice typing
