Meet the Principal
Principal Aimee Crispin
Hello! My name is Aimee Crispin, and I am the proud principal of Dennison Elementary School. This is my 25th year working for Jefferson County Public Schools. I was an elementary school teacher for 14 years and an instructional coach for five years. This is my sixth year at Dennison as of the 2024-25 school year. I was the assistant principal for two years, and this is my fourth year as principal.
I have known I wanted to be an educator from a very young age. My mother was a teacher and I remember always playing school and pretending to “grade papers” as a young girl. I truly believe I have to ensure the students not only receive an excellent education but also become outstanding young people who choose to make a difference in the world later in life. I want them to love learning and set up foundational habits that will help them to be successful no matter what their futures hold.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. I have a 14-year-old son and a 16-year-old daughter who are also students in Jeffco. We love playing with our dog and two cats and spend as much time as we can outdoors hiking and biking. Personally, I love to bake and cook and usually have about five books on my nightstand!
